The Colonists Club’s fourteenth hole is a dramatic short par four set on the dunes overlooking Coast Guard Beach on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Located just two hours from Boston and Providence, the course is ideally positioned to attract both locals and vacationers throughout the Northeast’s golfing season.

This strategic hole offers three distinct options off the tee, each presenting its own challenge depending on wind conditions and the player’s confidence that day. The safest play is down the wide section of fairway short of the right traps, which leaves a semi-blind short-iron approach. A more aggressive line over the mound on the left is ideal in calm weather, setting up a short, uphill pitch to a small green.

When the wind picks up, players may choose to go directly for the green.  Sideboards on the front and right help funnel low or slightly mishit shots onto the putting surface.  This unique hole delivers an exciting and memorable challenge for players of all abilities.
